See doctor ASAP: Initial herpes rarely occurs in hair-bearing areas, i.e. where you would shave. OTOH, recurrent herpes could behave like this. You say nothing about risks for herpes or other new STD, like new partner, multiple partners, etc. You'll never get clear answers online, on HealthTap or anywhere else.
