Upon review of your history, your allergies increase your likelihood of wheezing during an illness. If you are wheezing, a bronchodilator should be used.

You can but: You can take Prednisone and Amoxicillin at the same time and there is no contra indication for taking them togetjher But you did not say why you consulted two doctors.Are you being treated for two different medical condition.Prednisone is not used for chest infection and a short course is sometime recommended for inflammation and wheezing usually along with a bronchodilator via inhalation
