Big Difference: Lymphocytes are another name for those infection fighting white blood cells. The abs lymph level is a measure of how many of those cells are available to fight infection. There are three main types of them. The lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph is a thick "fluid" and has many "solid elements.
