While: Commonly used interchangeably by people, it is technically incorrect. Nodes are lymph filtes that extract foreign microbes, a gland has a duct and secretes a product. Exocrine glands excrete to a surface (salivary gland into mouth); endocrine blood stream, estrogen produce feminizing effects throughout the body.
