Thanks for asking: Hi LindseyB. Thanks for your concern for your mom? Kidney infections usually require antibiotic treatment, sometimes for weeks. Being sick with flu on top of that is miserable, and if she can't take oral antibiotics, she should go to the ER for evaluation. Otherwise, see a doctor, or ask for a longer consultation.
