Persistent headaches: There are many types of headaches most of them of benign nature, however when headaches are of new onset, have been more frequent or more severe it is time to be seen by your pcp for more evaluation and make sure they are to caused by a more serious problem. I am not sure of the association of the lump with the headaches you are getting but definitely you should be seen.
