Injuries ?: Could be internal bleeding into the knee with leakage may into a ruptured Baker's cyst. You need to have the knee imaged, drained and work on a muscle building exercise program. Your physician can help guide you. Causes of the internal bleeding to be arthritis could be the arthritis, internal injuries to the bone, cartilage or soft tissues, each of which needs to be evaluated.
