Could be arthritis : I have had many patients over the years tell me when it was going to rain based on their various joint pains. It may have something to do with changes in barometric pressure. It may be due to factors not yet discovered. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms and treatment options. You live in a part of the country that gets a lot of rain! Best wishes!

Pressure: It is believed that inflammatory and arthritic problems become more symptomatic with weather changes due to the changes in barometric pressure that occur at the same time. Don't hesitate to be seen if you have a lot of trouble with it.

Pressure receptors : Your joints have pressure receptor nerve endings that sense from the name , pressure. When the rain comes or weather changes, the atmospheric pressure changes and joints with pathology can be stimulated. Common with arthritic knees.
