Very real: Here's a legitimate respected site. More is recently being understood. It's very real and varies from person to person. Like many conditions, emotional issues can underlay or overlay it and complicate the picture. It takes a while for some Doctors to get up-to-date on research, so be careful.

Explainable: ? Re reality/diagnosis of Fibromyalgia, FM: FM is "umbrella label" for several disorders, each defined by a unique & distinct set of identifiable causal factors. Unifying symptoms are chronic widespread pain, non-restorative sleep, depression & cognitive disarray. Common causal factors include femaleness, childbirth, joint hypermobility, obesity, biomechanical injury & prolonged inactivity.
