A member asked:

Third spell of dizziness, extremely exhausted, can't get up without the world spinning. doctor doesn't know what's wrong but said there's a virus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dizziness: Often related to a sinus problem, which may be helped with antibiotics. Viral inner ear infection usually occurs as isolated episode over 1 to 2 weeks. If recurrent symptoms, then consider more unusual causes like infectious mononucleosis, cardiovascular problems (ortho static hypotension), or central neurological problem. Ask for further work up if not improving.
