YES TELL THE OB: If you have been on methadone for 5 years, wether for chronic pain or preventing Heroin relapse. All doctors need to know the dose and be aware of ALL MEDS you are on. Discuss with OB and Anesthesia. It can effect the anesthetic agents used wether you have a TAB or decide to carry the fetus to term. Also postop they have to monitor for withdrawal .TELL ALL YOUR DOCS .OB/Anesthesia/Addiction ASAP
