Winter baby cheeks: This is just a common finding for babies during the winter, they can have some irritation and chapping that is worse in colder weather. Minimize bathing to every other day. You can always use an unscented moisturizer like eucerin creme after bath. This is part of what makes your baby so beautiful!

May be normal: Normal, dry skin, or eczema all improve with DAILY soaks in warm water followed immediately by application of of an emollient. I favor the ceramide creams. MANY years ago it was thought that these children should be bathed less frequently. FREQUENT "soak and smeer" aproach is much more beneficial.
