No: Endoscopes will check your stomach and large bowel but not your liver.

Not for liver fxn: but we certainly use endoscopy to detect any liver-related complications such as esophageal/gastric varices, portal hypertensive gastropathy, or GAVE. so there can certainly be times that an endoscopy is recommended to 'check out the liver'.
