History, Blood test first : Sarcoidosis is an idiopathic and affects people of Scandinavia and African Americans more. There is a blood test and gallium scan that's ordered if there is a clinical suspicion that it is affecting you.

Often w/o Symptoms: This condition is classically a multi organ inflammatory condition. Specific to the eye, inflammation occurs in the front (iritis) and back (uveitis) of the eye, optic nerve, and lacrimal gland tissue as well. The exact cause of this condition is not known, but it's considerable, often without symptoms, and profound in certain patients. Therefore, I would highly recommend that every patient with sarcoidosis be examined by an amount just regularly. Please take care of this.
