No OTC treatment: There are no OTC medications effective against urethritis. At your age of 17, and assuming you are sexually active, urethritis means STD -- gonorrhea, chlamydia, or nongonococcal urethritis (NGU). You need professional examination, diagnostic tests, and treatment with prescription antibiotics. Do it ASAP; every day you delay increases the chance of serious complications. Good luck!
