No: Fasting is not recommended for anyone, but as a "still growing" teen it is especially detrimental. Depriving your body of regular nutrition causes changes in the hormonal environment within your body that can have longterm negative impact your health. Eating healthy, appropriately portioned meals/snacks on a regular basis, staying hydrated and reg exercise are all important for your overall health
