Acupuncture: There are many. However, i will speak about acupuncture since that is what I have expertise in. It has been around for over 5, 000 years (far longer than western medicine). It is still the predominant type of medicine practiced in many areas (along with herbology). Thus it is not "alternative" in many parts of the world. As a physician, it allows me to be a healer.
