Depends : There are smal bowel and colon resections. Depends on why and where the problem is. A transplant likely a translocation of the bowel.

Complex : This is rare, and often done as part of multiple organ transplant. Usually due to an intraabdominal catastrophe where there is loss of the intestines due to lack of blood supply from a variety of causes. This is only done in specialized transplant centers. Hope this helps!
