A doctor has provided 1 answer

Muscle spasm: Could be muscle spasm. Sometimes drinking or eating can trigger hormonal or chemical responses that might make having a muscle spasm more likely. Of it could be referred pain from a problem with your esophagus or stomach, such as an ulcer. If the latter is the case, it may repond to over the counter Zantac (ranitidine).
