Heat: If you feel one coming on, get a wash cloth and put it under very warm (not hot) tap water and apply to the eye for 4 minutes about 5 times per day. This will usually get rid of it. Eyedrops with antibiotics will not do anything. It is always helpful to maintain good hygiene and clean the eye regularly.
