Clean sock, raw rice: Use a sock to do hot compress. Put rice in the sock (uncooked) then microwave about 30 seconds. The heat lasts 10-15 minutes. Good for styes, meibomitis and dry eye!

Warm compresses: A stye is basically an inflamed oil gland on your eyelid -- and many go away by themselves. You can put warm compresses over the affected area 3-4 times/day for 10 to 15 minutes to help drain the stye, and to remove the infection from the oil gland. If you've been using eye makeup, throw it away since it can re-expose you to infection. If no improvement in a few days, see your eye doctor.
