No: All the ingredients in nyquil are not what you need for a viral gastroenteritis. Drink plenty of fluids, get plenty of rest. Let it run its course and your body will fight the infection. Take broths in sips if you have trouble keeping full meals down. tylenol (acetaminophen) may help for ache and headache,
