My 10 month old will breathe really shallow or even pause in his breathing for 10-20 seconds while awake, should i be concerned?

Breathing pattern: If he is growing and developing normally, without any air hunger, rapid breathing or upper airway noise, it is probably within normal variation in breathing pattern. If you notice snoring problems with his development, excessive sleepiness, I would recommend an evaluation.
