Degenerative changes: how defined, "diagnosed"? Many issues commonly "diagnosed" by X-Ray have little correlation with either pain short-term or long term function. For example calcification within ligaments ("spurs") or narrowing of intervertebral disk spaces are commonly called degenerative changes; yet these do not reliably correlate with either pain or function. Focus on function & study the Robin McKenzie methods.
