Thyroid problem: Decrease TSH may be a result of primary disease of pituitary gland causing secondary hypothyroidism or it may be a consequence of negative feed back of elevated thyroid hormone (T4) in thyrotoxicosis. Both may (not always) cause infertility or menstrual cycle abnormality. After treatment, hormone levels return to normal and pregnancy is achieved more easily.
