Epigastric pain: epigastric pain can be caused by many things. The most common are acid reflux or ulcers. Pain there also can be caused by the gallbladder, lungs, or rarely the heart. Depending on the quality of your pain, you might want to try antacids such as Tums (calcium carbonate) as a therapeutic trial. If that doesn't work, you should see your doctor for evaluation. Good luck.
