2yrs chest pain,doc says pulling from cartlidge in ribs,heal in 6-8mo.same pain past 3 days doc said should been gone,but happens evry few months why.

Mgt suggestions: There are many causes of chest pain, but in a toddler, muscular pain or a bruise may be the cause. If he has any problems breathing, I would suggest a visit with the M.D. If he can take children's motrin (ibuprofen) it may help relieve the pain. A heating pad can also help.
