Acupuncture: AP can have anesthetic properties, but healing is mostly a function of time, proper nutrition and gradual rehabilitation. Scarring is difficult to avoid with tendon injuries and have a high risk for recurrence.

No: There is no scientific evidence that acupuncture actually helps heal any injury. You need to rest for several weeks and then rehab your injury as long as the tendon has not ruptured.
