Pschogenic polydipsi: Psychogenic polydipsia, is an urge to drink water ususally cause by a mental health disorder, or medications used to treat a mental health disoerder, that gives a person the sensation of a dry mouth. Potomania is another condition wherby one drinks an excessive amount of water which can lead to a severe drop in sodium (hyponatremia) resulting in seisures and potentially death.
