Unlikely: Varicella infection can cause a decrease in sperm production in male because of fever but it is temporary. The testicles can be involved directly by the virus and cause testiculitis and possible infertility. In female, it is possible that the ovaries are involved in the course of the disease but uncommon and very unlikely to cause infertility.
