Yes, but: Molluscum contagiosum is a virus. It can go away on its own, but this can take up to 4 years. However, you can get it again if your skin comes in contact with someone else's molluscum contagiosum bump. If you have it, keep it covered by a dressing or clothes so others don't catch it from you!
