Gastroparesis : Gastroparesis is not well understood. Diagnosis is clinical & nuclear gastric emptying scan. Treatment is medication & dietary, alternative medicine therapies, or surgery - gastric stimulator, "valve" opening, or near complete removal of the stomach, similar to a gastric bypass, but with the stomach excised. This is a last resort. Hope this helps!
