Canker Sores: Canker sores are painful oral lesions that look like shallow, round ulcers. There are many reason why canker sores appear including family history, trauma, hormones, food or drug hypersensitivity, and increased stress. Canker sores not usually a manifestation of allergy. Not great treatment options: triamcinolone acetonide in Orabase, fluocinonide gel covered by Orabase, and topical analgesics
