Viral or Bacterial: Generalized red dots or rash with diarrhea could be the start of a viral or bacterial infection. If you have fever, muscle aches, fatigue or other symptoms that worsen over time seeing a doctor for further workup and evaluation is recommended. Keep well hydrated and get lots of rest. NSAIDs or acetaminophen for fever.
