A member asked:

Is it more common for people to be rh positive or rh negative?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rh positive: Each person carries two alleles, if either is positive, the person if Rh positive. Among Asians and American Indians, Rh negative alleles are quite uncommon. Among the Basque, a majority of the alleles are Rh-negative and thus a larger minority of people are Rh-negative. Among folks of European ancestry, around one person in 6 has two Rh-negative alleles.
