No soap?: A new soap, detergent, fabric softener, fragrance or brand of panty liner or pad( generic ones seem to be more irritating the last couple of years ) may be causing irritation. If any of these are new, stop them, it may be causing local irritation. Also, over-cleaning (too often or too much soap or a harsh soap) can cause dryness which can lead to itching.
