Need more info: You didn't say where it was. If its just a boil then antibiotics would do the trick. Doubt its cancer. If its in the skin and recurring it's probably a sebaceous cyst and until you surgically remove the shell it can keep recurring. If its a boil or simple abscess draining the pus alone will usually take care of it. If you are talking about anywhere else besides on regular skin then see a doctor.
