Eye Power: Not sure what you mean by eye power, but assume you mean vision? Pain and vision are sometimes related although at your age that seems unlikely. Any persistent pain in your eye or change in your vision should be evaluated by your doc.

See your eye doctor : to rule out corneal vs. refractive error. Sometimes anisometropia (huge difference in refractive error) might lend itself to headaches in dealing with this without classes, but rarely causes eye pain. Dry eye syndrome, recurrent corneal erosion & abrasions are more notorious for causing pain. Need a slit lamp microscopy using fluorescein staining, and Schirmer's testing to see what's going on.
