Caffeine is safe: Most studies show no detrimental or even beneficial effect of moderate caffeine intake ~ 2-4 cups coffee per day. High doses may cause problems altho data limited. Coke causes problems with sugar (non diet Coke) or high intake of artificial sweetener's that may have unrecognized toxicity. Also plastic components in containers could be toxic. As a fellow diet Coke addict just keep intake moderate.
