Suspect STD: Yeast and UTI are entirely separate problems. UTI in women can be triggered by sex (by "massaging" normal bacteria into the urethra), but nothing to do with yeast. Maybe most important, in sexually active teens all this could be due to an STD, which can be easily misdiagnosed as yeast or UTI. For sure you and your partner need STD exam and testing, especially gonorrhea and chlamydia. Good luck!
