CYA vs Pt care: The combination can cause excessive drowsiness , so many drug companies list several things that should be avoided, ie, operating heavy equipment, alcohol, etc. This is done to help reduce legal repercussions, but seem to have no bearing on patient care. It seems that the physician seeing the patient wound be able make the most well informed decision, not some corporate legal protection person
