Good question...: with no easy answer that can be given over the internet. See your PCP and dentist asap. Only after a very thorough exam can your question start to be answered.

Migraine: In cases of migraine headache, pain in the head, eyes and neck are frequently associated. If the gum pain also goes away when head pain subsides then Gum pain is also part of migraine but if gum pain stays and remains constant then it is a separate dental issue. See a neurologist.
