Had pain on the right side of my abdomen years ago. when my dr did a lap he found bad endometriosis on the left side. how is this possible?

Endometriosis: thello tdhaus. it depends how he did the lap. If he did it thru an endoscope its very easy to see everything in the abdomen and would be easy to identify endometrio the LEFT. If he did an open lap (McBurneys incision) he could easily see and feel the1if the incision is large enough (?10cms long) If he did it through a keyhole it would difficult to make this statement. thanks
