Check diet: Constipation is often due to a diet that needs more fiber--fresh fruits and vegetables and plenty of water. Also exercise helps reduce it as well. Certain medications and supplements can make it worse. If changing your diet and adding fiber and increasing exercise does not help take a look at what you are taking. If it continues see your doctor to rule out other causes like thyroid, IBS etc
