I fell against my side table the other day and bruised myself pretty badly. there is a "c" marking probably from the drawer handle. hurts to breathe. ?

Mgt/work up: Your symptoms are most likely related to the bruising of soft tissue and maybe of the rib. If there is any chance of the rib being broken, an x ray should be obtained. If you are short of breath or air hungry, please go to the ED. Otherwise, a heating pad and advil (ibuprofen) will help to alleviate the pain. A virtual follow up appt is available.
