Skin lesion-insect?: Rapidly developed skin lesions are typical of insect bites. Spider bites are somewhat less itchy, and more inflamed than mosquito bites. Avoiding self-trauma, use of steroid creams or antihistamines may help. Spider bites usually take days to resolve, and may require medical attention in rare cases.
