PPI's: There has been a lot of research done on the effects of PPI's on minerals and nutrients, specifically calcium, magnesium, and vitamin B12. The preponderance of the research has suggested that PPI's do not have long-term effects on these nutrients except for rare patients with low magnesium. There is no need to supplement your diet based solely on taking PPI's. Good luck.
