What's question: Sounds as if this has been managed effectively. This is usually due to getting water in the external ear, and more frequently occurs in diabetics (often with poor control). It may also occur if you traumatize the external ear using a Q-tip to clean it out too aggressively. Does sound as if your GP knows their business. Hope this helps.
