See a urologist: at age 23, slow urinary flow should not be due to an enlarged prostate (which is what flomax (tamsulosin) treats). so I question your diagnosis and treatment. masturbation is ok

WHY???: why you are on flomax (tamsulosin). you are too young for this kind of problems. the short answer ,no,it is not permanent. and it is OK to practice sex. in general. are you seeing a urologist? did they do a functional bladder capacity test? i hope you will feel better.again you are too young for this.
