There is a cause: In order to figure it out you will need an exam from a primary care provider with a possible dental referral to consider the swollen cheek. Not knowing the cause doesn't mean there isn't one. Good luck!

See a dentist ASAP: The tooth or gum infection won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your body. Dentist will treat a tooth abscess by treating the cause and getting rid of the infection. Do not delay. Good luck.
